Tolkien Studies on the Web - Tolkien Site Reviews

The Tolkien Society Forodrim

Some of the articles on the Tolkien Society Forodrim Web site have become classic online resources for Tolkien research. The chronological bibliography of Tolkien's work's alone is extremely helpful in organizing notes on the various Tolkien mythologies.

I worked with Måns Björkman, one of the chief contributors to the site, on Parma Ambarnatsë (The Web-Book, no longer available although you may still be able to browse it through archive.org). His knowledge of Middle-earth's history and characters is solid and respectable.

Some of the resource on the Forodrim site are published in English. For example, What's in the History of Middle-earth by Ninni M. Pettersen is an exhaustive guide to the individual works published in the twelve volumes of Christopher Tolkien's study of the evolution of Middle-earth.

The Forodrim site is a must-see point of interest for anyone engaged in serious Tolkien research.
