Despite a few mis-spellings (such as "Middle Earth" for "Middle-earth"), Warren Lawless wrote a series of well-considered but speculative articles in the late 1990s. His essays won't break much new ground for people who have been browsing the Web today, but they are characteristic of the detailed research that online Tolkien enthusiasts shared when the Web was young.

Some of the articles on the Tolkien Society Forodrim Web site have become classic online resources for Tolkien research. The chronological bibliography of Tolkien's work's alone is extremely helpful in organizing notes on the various Tolkien mythologies.

Make no mistake, TolkienCollector.com is a commercial site. It offers a lot of merchandise for sale. But Joe Williams isn't just trying to make a dollar for himself. He understands the passion of Tolkien Collecting.
